Manga Review: Kimi no Iru Machi

OK! Those who like romance, saddle up!

A Town where you live, "Kimi no Iru Machi"!

One of the top 10 mangas on mangafox, this manga is epic. Stating serialization in 2008, the story starts in the countryside of rural Hiroshima, with Kirishima Haruto. He will be the story's male protagonist. Living in the countryside with a small array of friends, he lives a peaceful life, even with a crush on a girl in school.

A girl from tokyo suddenly appears! Yuzuki Eba, the daughter of a Haruto's father's friend appears!

What is this? A stranger living in his house? Oh no! What will happen now? How will his classmates look at them? (A couple, duh...) Now the problem becomes a huge issue, as the misunderstandings continue between his crush, Namami Kanzaki and himself!

Still, the plot progresses and everyone all knows what happens. Yes, Eba Yuzuki then falls in love with Haruto! It also appears they met a long time ago! And after a few volumes, they become a couple! However, through changing circumstances, their love always ends up in pieces!
Atmosphere wise, the mangaka has really expressed it well. From start to present, it shows the differences in setting as Haruto grows up from a countryside to an modern town.

The story is very simple, just a nice kind guy who seeks to fall in love, only to discover that the girl that was always beside him was his true love, but... I don't know that yet because the manga hasn't ended!

There are break-ups and there are deaths, there are friends and enemies made as the story progresses. Dreams crushed and unrequited loves. It is a transition from high-school boy to university student. And as the years progress in the manga, many things take a turn for the worse, or better. How is Haruto going to decide his future? Can he claim back his one true love after so many years?

Currently, Haruto has just broken-up, again, with the Asuka Mishima, the girl who supported him and never lost faith or trust in Haruto through all his mis-understandings. (Honestly, this guy...) What will happen next?

Kimi no Iru Machi contains lot of humour, romance (duh), harem and YES, ECCHI. It is currently being scanlated by "Red Hawk Scans", and is at chapter 145!
